During Step 2 of the process, we often collected data directly from the company at issue. During these instances, we were usually required to obtain data from different areas or departments within the company. In other words, company data were not maintained in a central database, but rather were scattered in pieces throughout the company.
During Step 5 of the process, she noticed that oftentimes the quality of the opposing parties’ analyses were somewhat lacking, and at the same time, the quantity of work performed (and thus time billed) by those parties was often quite bountiful.
Based on these experiences, Dr. Fisher decided that there was a definite need in the market for someone who could integrate information from all aspects of a business and use that information to provide either proactive or reactive, high quality, yet reasonably–priced, economic analyses so as to ultimately help companies increase profitability. Hence QuantAA was born.
